We visited Tybee Island on our Savanah Georgia trip....it is about a 15 minute drive from Savanah and the drive there was scenic and pretty with marsh views. We drove there to visit the Atlantic Coast and The Tybee Island Light Station and Museum....
We took a tour of the light keeper's cottage, walked around the grounds, walked to the top of the lighthouse and got to see great views of the island and the Atlantic Ocean....
