Exploring Fairhope AL

 (Photos Taken Oct.2020)

Back in October 2020, we took a day trip and explored the small town of Fairhope located in Southwest Alabama. It's about a 2 hour drive west of where we live. This town is a charming little town with a walkable downtown area....there are places to eat and fun shops to explore....we started our day out with lunch, a walk about the town and then some antiquing.... and we ended our day with views of the Bay at Fairhope Pier.....

This town had it's own little version of The French Quarters....

I so loved the little bike outside this candy shop....

There are also antique shops, a Christmas shop, a soap shop as well as eateries....

As much as I love kitties, I was happy that the town cat came out to say hello to us....
The Fairhope Pier was only a short drive from downtown...so we drove over there to take in the views....

I had to include this picture of this sign that was hanging up in the restaurant that we ate lunch at. It was fitting for this sweet Southern Alabama town that had a lot of hospitality and great sweet iced tea too. We had a fun day!  I hope you enjoyed coming along with us today! Thanks for stopping by!
