These photos are from our vacation at the end of May 2017.....
These below were taken on the scenic road through the park at the pull off lookout areas...there was quite a bit of elevation on Pine Mountain, though my photos don't show it well....
I would love to see it in the fall....
Visitors Center....
We hiked some of the Pine Mountain Trail....
We were fairly deep in the woods y'all.....
We hiked to Csonka Falls....it was about a 2 mile round trip....
We made it to Csonka Falls...it was tiny but pretty still, the creek was crystal clear.....
There was a bigger water fall about 1.2 more miles, it's called Cascade Falls, (which is where we were originally gonna hike to), but we felt like we had hiked, and "conquered" enough today, and besides it was time for lunch... we were tired. We are used to the Florida flat lands sort of hikes, ha! So, we decided to head on back....
It was a great time.... and the park was beautiful!

Below is a photo from the charming small downtown of Pine Mountain, Ga....there are a lot of cute gift shops to go in like this one...called "Sugah Candy"...love the Georgia accent coming through in that name!
