We visited Eufaula Alabama November 2023 as part of our fall trip to see the nearby Park called Providence Canyon State Park in Lumpkin Georgia, (you'll find that post below if you keep scrolling this webpage or you can click HERE). I'm behind on posting our trips, but this is the timeframe that the photos were taken...
Eufaula is a pretty and historic small town in Southeast Alabama, we enjoyed seeing all of the pretty places there....
We love the walkability of the historic downtown, there are several restaurants and shops, and we had lunch at a great restaurant while we were there called El Jalisco Mexican Grill,...the atmosphere and food was wonderful and affordable as well....
We each had to pose for a picture by the Big Bass....
We had planned on touring one of the old mansions in Eufaula and wanted to see this one, but when we got there it was not open that day, it was a holiday, (I can't remember which it was). There was someone there who talked to us and said we could peek in the windows and take some photos there, but the tour guide was off and not there this day. It was a beautiful old place... we hope we'll get the chance to see it the next time we come to visit this town. It was a fun little fall getaway!
