Park admission is only $5 a car to get in and free parking once inside the park. The attendant on duty gives maps of the trails. This Georgia State Park is located about 18 miles south of Chattanooga, Tn in Rising Fawn, Ga.
It is so peaceful and quiet here....there were only I'd say about 10 other cars parked out in the parking lot the day we here on a week day....the views are amazing...
The trails heading down to the falls are well marked and are mostly boardwalks with hand rails, and these meander down and down and around mostly on stairs until you reach the falls....it's a good walk down the stairs to get to the falls, so be sure to wear good walking shoes and bring at least a bottle or two of water for each person. There are places to sit and rest on the hike along the way down.....
See, there are many stairs leading down....it's a good hike... but so much fun, I will say that it is harder going back up.....

We only spent a day here, as it was on our way to our vacation destination at Rock City in Chattanooga, Tn. but we are so glad that we planned our vacation to stop here, this place made some wonderful memories for us. We've put it down on our list of favorite destinations.
