Tybee Island Georgia Light Station & Museum February 2022

We visited Tybee Island on our Savanah Georgia trip....it is about a 15 minute drive from Savanah and the drive there was scenic and pretty with marsh views. We drove there to visit the Atlantic Coast and The Tybee Island Light Station and Museum....

We took a tour of the light keeper's cottage, walked around the grounds, walked to the top of the lighthouse and got to see great views of the island and the Atlantic Ocean....

Wormsloe Historic Site Savanah Georgia February 2022

During our visit to Savanah Georgia, we went to Wormsloe Historic Site....the one mile lane that leads to the main parking lot was so beautiful it was lined with spanish moss draped oaks. There is so much history here at Wormsloe.....we saw what was left of the tabby ruin and walked the grounds of where the first group of settlers came from Enland and established a colony in Georgia. Walking the shaddy trail was so peaceful there...

and the marshlands were pretty.....

Savanah Botanical Gardens February 2022

During our visit to Savanah Georgia, we went to the Savanah Botanical Gardens....this is such a peaceful, pretty place...it was still late wintertime.....and so the camellia were in full bloom when we were there February 8th 2022....
